Documentation
A guided tour of every part of AeroclubHQ, organised exactly like the app's navigation.
These pages mirror the application’s navigation. Each section combines a short description of what it is with a screenshot and a practical how to use it walkthrough — so they double as a user guide. Pick an area from the sidebar, or start with Operations below.
Operations
Dashboard
The landing screen — what needs your attention across the whole club, at a glance.
Flight Log
The live feed of in-progress flights detected automatically by the OGN/FLARM receiver, waiting for staff review and approval.
Flights
The complete registry of every flight — manual or tracked — with crew, durations, start type, and the charges billed.
Transactions
The append-only member payment ledger — every debit and credit, with a reliable audit trail and historical balances.
Duties
The club duty roster — line management, instructor and other shifts — with approval that can generate the associated charges or credits.
Members
The member registry — status, membership type, balance, qualifications and custom fields, in table or card view.
Aircraft
The fleet inventory — registration, type and category, maintenance components with check thresholds, and airworthiness status.
Reservations
A shared booking calendar for the fleet, so members can reserve aircraft and staff can see what the fleet is committed to.

Fleet
Components
The maintenance building blocks of an aircraft — engines, propellers and the like — each with check thresholds that drive airworthiness alerts.
Categories & Types
A two-level classification of the fleet — categories contain types — that rules target by stable ids so renames never break them.
Rules
Pricing Rules
The composite flight-pricing engine — a flight's price is the sum of every matching rule, each set by IF/ELSE-IF/ELSE branches and versioned by effective date.
Qualification Rules
The same condition engine as pricing, used to enforce who may fly in which role — surfacing qualification alerts before a flight is approved.
Penalties
Financial penalty rules — such as no-show fees or overdue-balance charges — defined alongside the rest of the rule engine.
Accumulated Facts
Per-member running totals — flight hours, duty hours, balance — that the rule engines read when evaluating conditions.
Periodic Transactions
Recurring charges or credits on a schedule — such as a monthly or annual membership fee — shown as schedule cards with a next-runs preview.
Definitions
Memberships
The membership-type vocabulary every member is assigned to — the basis for pricing tiers and recurring fees.
Certificates & Licenses
Definitions of pilot licenses and ratings, with the validity intervals that feed proficiency tracking and qualification checks.
Flight Tasks
The catalogue of flight activity types — dual, solo, tow, cross-country — used to classify flights and drive pricing.
Duty Types
The classifications of club duties and shifts — line management, retriever crew, instructor — used to roster and bill duties.
Transaction Types
The categories used to classify ledger entries — flight charge, membership fee, refund, penalty — so payments and statistics group meaningfully.
Custom Fields
Club-defined fields added to members, aircraft and flights without any schema change, letting each club capture data the base model doesn't cover.
