Duties
A record of duty hours worked at the club — line management, instructor and other shifts — with approval.
What it is
Duties record the work members put in at the club — office work, manual work, AFIS service, and more. It captures who worked, when, and on what.
Duties tie into billing. Approving a duty creates a credit transaction posted to the member who served the shift — the amount is derived from the duty type and from the member’s rate valid at the duty’s date. A duty can only be approved by someone other than the person who served it; you cannot approve your own duty. Duties can be logged one at a time or in bulk.

How to use it
- Create a single duty — log one shift at
/duties/new.

- Bulk-create duties — add several duties at once at
/duties/bulk. - Open a duty — the duty’s page shows its details and who served it.
- Approve duties — approval credits the member for the hours worked. You can also approve in bulk from the list by selecting several pending duties. You cannot approve your own duty.
- Export the record — a filtered list of duties can be downloaded as CSV or PDF (the export matches the filters set in the list).
