Flights

The complete registry of every flight — manual or tracked — with crew, durations, start type, and the charges billed.

What it is

Flights is the permanent record of every flight your club has run, whether it was detected automatically by the receiver or logged by hand. It’s the single place to look up what flew, who was aboard, and what each flight cost.

Each row carries the details that matter for billing and review: pairing information (so a glider shows alongside its tow), crew roles, flight duration, the start type such as winch or aerotow, and the charges that the billing pipeline produced. You can filter and sort the registry to find exactly the flights you’re after, then open any one of them for the full picture. Because charges are generated automatically, the registry stays consistent with your pricing rules rather than drifting from manual edits.

How to use it

  • Log a new flight — add a manual flight at /flights/new for activity the receiver didn’t capture.

  • Filter and sort — narrow the registry by the criteria you need to find specific flights fast.
  • Open a flight — go to a flight’s page to see its Details, Payment, Track, and History tabs, and to edit it.

  • Adjust billing the right way — to change what a flight costs, edit the flight or the rules and let the billing pipeline re-run; don’t edit the money directly.
  • Export to CSV — download the registry at /flights/export for reporting or external systems.
  • Flight Log — where tracked flights are reviewed before they land here.
  • Pricing Rules — the rules that decide each flight’s charges.
  • Transactions — the ledger those charges post to.
  • Members — the people who fly and get billed.
