Flight Statistics
An overview of flying activity — hours flown, fleet utilisation, and crew totals over time.
What it is
Flight Statistics summarise approved flights into a single read-only overview. They show flying activity over time — total hours flown, how heavily each aircraft is used, and crew statistics across the membership.

Because the page only summarises existing flight data, there is nothing to edit — the numbers always reflect what has been recorded and approved.
How to use it
- Choose a grouping — switch the view by pilot, aircraft, task, or qualification, and break starts and hours down to the level of aircraft category and type, including a split by start type (aerotow, winch, self-launch).
- Filter by period and selection — narrow the statistics by date range, pilot, aircraft, category, qualification, membership, start type, flight type, or payment status.
- Total hours flown — the club-wide total hours flown shows activity over the chosen period.
- Compare fleet utilisation — which aircraft is heavily used and which sits idle.
- Crew statistics — when grouped by pilot, starts and hours are split into flights as pilot in command, flights with an instructor, and flights acting as instructor.
