Payment Statistics
A summary of credits and debits by transaction type over a chosen period.
What it is
Payment Statistics give you a read-only financial overview of the club. In one place they show a summary of credits and debits over a chosen period.
At the top are three summary figures — total credits, total debits, and the difference between them (the net balance). Below them are two tables broken down by transaction type: how much, and across how many records, falls into each credit type and each debit type. The view can be narrowed with filters by period (the current calendar year by default), a specific member, category (credit/debit), and transaction type. The figures are aggregated from existing transaction records, so there is nothing to edit; the view always reflects the current state of the books.
How to use it
- Filter by period and scope — choose a date range, and optionally a specific member, category, or transaction type, and the summary changes accordingly.
- Break down credits and debits — the breakdown by type shows which transaction types make up the largest share of the club’s credits and debits.
